Big hugs. I have had numerous experiences with synchronicity such as you describe. Dreams are another way that these signs manifest themselves. I had a friend who was 103 when she died and was full of life right up until the very end. I was feeling sad and a little guilty that I hadn't gone to visit her the last 3 months of her life (we used to meet up about once a month for lunch) when I learned of her passing. A night or two later I dreamed about Dinah Shore. Not a fan of hers, not of my generation. Still, the dream persisted to nag at me throughout the day as I know that often when famous people appear in our dreams it is simply for the reason to help us remember a particular dream and pay attention to its importance. As the evening came on, I turned on the TV and was channel surfing when I happened on a channel that was showing vintage footage from The Dinah Shore Show. This caught my attention immediately and I zeroed in to see what would unfold. The footage was of someone playing the piano (I do not recall what famous musician it was anymore) and Dinah Shore standing next to him singing. They came to the end of one song and then she turned to him and said "Do you know 'Pennies From Heaven'?" which they then began to perform. I was stunned as I knew this to be a direct message from my friend . She used to actually break into song often and it was always "Pennies From Heaven" that she would do (accompanied by a mock soft shoe dance, I might add!). I now understood why I had dreamed about Dinah Shore...so that I might receive this direct message from my friend. The signs ARE there. All you have to do is pay attention. As a French girl, this is how I used to eat all the time: without guilt whatsoever and enjoying a lot of everything. Then I moved to the US and very slowly I began to feel the guilt creeping (it took a while though!).....now I feel bad about half the time when i eat! good thing I still have the other half... and good thing we have beautiful hills to climb in Cal and beautiful weather....:) You are so right Amy. The point I was trying to make was that the choice I made that day, was to use my time looking at the positive, to be understanding, and in a matter of 60 seconds, I was out the door. If I had decided to call the manager over and complain, I would have been spending a lot more of my time in a much less desirable way. In any case, I was happy with my choice.
