Penny, I didn't feel I was disrespected. I felt I was in a very human situation. Perhaps the cashier had to take her break, maybe they were understaffed, as you suggest. The point I was trying to make was that the choice I made that day, was to use my time looking at the positive, to be understanding, and in a matter of 60 seconds, I was out the door. If I had decided to call the manager over and complain, I would have been spending a lot more of my time in a much less desirable way. In any case, I was happy with my choice.

Really? You let someone treat you with disrespect and you "decide" to be OK with it? In the end, all that will earn you is compounded disrespect. How hard would it have been to ask for a manager and suggest another lane be opened? Perhaps the root of the problem is that the store is understaffed and the manager should have been made to deal with the pain point. You also could have left your items behind to indicate the store lost a sale for their handling of the situation.

lol a few of the commentary visitors post are so silly, many a time i ask myself whether they even read the documents and items before writing or whether they take a moment to read the title of the blog post and prepare the first thing that pops into their heads. anyway, it really is good to browse keen commentary now and then instead of the same, classic oppinion vomit which i generally see on the web i'm going to play a few hands of facebook poker goodbye
